Both admirers and critics of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte acknowledge that there is fast momentum of real change and reforms now. In fact, I hear a lot of business people saying that this new administration marks the possible start of a new golden era for foreign and local investors to expand business operations in the Philippines. Despite the problem in Marawi City.

Charter change is coming on economic provisions. Moves to finally go forward in reforming the Philippine constitution can bring our investment policies up to par with or even more welcoming than those of our neighbors in ASEAN and Asia, thus boosting the profitability prospects for foreign and local investors. Lower taxes on business and personal incomes. Right now, we have among the highest business and personal income tax rates in the region. Reforms to lower these high tax rates will not only  boost the attractiveness of doing business in the Philippines for foreign and local investors, it will free up more disposable income among the citizenry and thus boost our consumer spending. I encourage foreign and local investors to already position themselves here in the Philippines, to start businesses or expand before this renewed economic boom.

Better peace and order despite the Marawi siege, According to Pres. Duterte everything is under control so that investors no need to worry about the clash in Marawi City. and  Drastic improvement in peace and order will boost tourism, and thus offer great opportunities for foreign and local investors to expand or go into resorts, hotels, spas and other tourism-related businesses. “If we enjoy a better peace-and-order situation under the reforms of President Duterte, the Philippines will enjoy a golden era of unprecedented growth in the tourism industry.”

Diplomacy reforms will boost the economy.  Philippine ties with our traditional ally and the world’s biggest economy, the US, will hopefully remain good under President Duterte, even as his wise reforms in foreign policy seem to indicate high hopes for normalizing and repairing crucial bilateral ties with the world’s second largest economy, China. We have been lagging  behind all our ASEAN competitors in economic engagement with China in recent years.

So, no need to worry about the clash in Marawi City it because according to the government everything is under control and they can handle and solve the problem made by the terrorist group. This terrorism cannot affect the growth of our economy, and no one can stop the growing economy of the country.

After Intramurals

The first day of intramurals 2017 i find exciting wherein we attend the colorful parade of course taking of pictures is there for our remembrance for that special event. We watched also the Ms. in-trams. My friends and I cheer in every sports that we passed by and when ever see cute girls playing we cheer it even though we don't know them. The students grab the opportunity to sell different products. But for me the essence of the intramurals is to engaged the students to love sports and always remember that the students should not only learn from the four corners of the classrooms but also outside the class to test their ability and skills and also to practice their sportsmanship during the game because sports it can create friendship, win or loss its a matter of enjoying the game and on how you perform it.

Intramurals 2017 was another year of breathtaking performances of the all talented and skillful performers and athletes. Though I wasn't able to attend all the days of the activity, I also enjoyed the bonding of the class. I liked the uniform of the BSBA department this year, it was quite light yellow but cute. 2017 intramurals was my most enjoyed intramurals in my three years here in college. I had fun watching the ball games, the volleyball and basketball, especially the basketball men of CRIM and BSBA department, because they are both very eager to win, i find there game very interesting than the other events. Marketers, in overall got the 4th runner up, and hopefully next year, we will be the overall champion! We are looking forward for it, so exciting! 

Intramurals is one of the activities that is been annually celebrated in our University. It is a friendly competition among all departments of UM in the field of different sports and other academic aspects. The college that will garner the highest tabulation of all the gathered gold, silver and bronze will be declared as the champion in the said event. Through this sportsmanship, values and leadership are been developed to everyone that's why majority of the players after the activities taken are concluding that, "it is not important if you win or loss in a game, what is important is how you played the game.

For the past two years i actually got bored during the intramurals, i usually stay at the dorm or boarding house and i just go out for the attendance. But this year i brought my friend to show her our intramurals. and we experience the intramurals and we enjoyed it with my other friends. We actually almost lose our voice in cheering. At the end, UM Tagum College  still value the essence of the Intramurals even they won or lose in their field what is important they did their best to play the competition.

Me As Marketing Student

Although I am unfairly prejudiced having a passion for marketing, there are a number of reasons why i believe individuals should consider a career in marketing. So, i have an reason why i should pursue a career in marketing. despite the belief of many, i have found a surprising lack of great marketers in the field. i have not been introduced to many individuals who are passionate about marketing, learning, and helping companies grow.

However, based in my passed working experienced i have met very few great marketers, personally, i love meeting new individuals and exchanging strategies and ideas that i have seen help grow businesses. Unfortunately i haven't met many times individuals who truly delve into the process and reflect on old and new strategies and i believe a great opportunity for those interested in learning how to grow a company and who want to channel their creativity. i think the value company's hold for great marketers is going to continue to grow in the future.

I consider the field of marketing to encompass more than only design, social media, public relations, promotion, advertising, sales and all people who engaged in business. I consider marketing to be the fundamental process behind growing a company. Considering starting own business in the future, then there is no better way to learn about growing a company than by being involved with marketing at an early stage company and examining what is effective and just as importantly, what is not as effective. Reflect on the actions that a company takes because all of this information will be valuable when working with companies in the future or with your own company. Every company requires a different marketing strategy, however certain strategies are applicable to a number of companies.   

I believe heart of business success lies in its marketing. Most aspects of business depend on successful marketing. The overall marketing umbrella covers advertising, public relations, promotions and sales. because marketing is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to potential customers. Without marketing, i found out that your business may offer the best products or services in your industry, but none of you potential customers would know about it, without marketing, sales may crash and companies may have to close.

What i most enjoy about marketing is the large positive influence that one ca have on a company. i enjoy being able to speak and share my ideas in school and explaining the exact marketing framework and breakdown of steps that they should pursue with their marketing and seeing the positive return on investment reaped. Within the fields of marketing and sales, an individual will always have a positive net result to a company. With marketing, a company knows that even if they have to spend money initially, they should end up with a higher profit.

Interaction or communication with your customer is so very important for a business to succeed , the product or service it provides must be known to potential buyers. Unless your business is known in the community and have communication with your customers readily available, we have to use marketing strategies to create product or service awareness. Without marketing, your potential customers may never be aware of your business offerings and your business may not be given the opportunity to progress and succeed. Using marketing to promote your product, service and company provides your business with a chance of being discovered by prospective customers.

To conclude, marketing, as in all fields, is not for everyone, however i do believe it is a career worth consideration.

What do I Expect in UMTC - Intramural's

Before entering the awesome world of college, I was thinking that intramurals would be just be ordinary events, just the competitions, games, yelling's, trash talks and everything else related to that. College intramural s sports are a fantastic way to stay fit and make friends while attending school in the University of Mindanao Tagum College. So, what do i expect in UMTC- intramurals, i hope that there are many opportunities for students and giving those students leadership experience and an opportunity to develop their people skills. Fresh ideas are always helpful to program as well. And i hope that every student in UMTC must be interested in this event because it can help us to keep on a regular sleep cycle, avoid binge drinking and drugs and give you a good group of people to hang around with. I know that sometimes it can feel lonely being at college and not being frat or sorority. But if you have some other place to go to belong, where people aren't behaving in a totally wild manner, it can really help keep you stable - mentally and physically.

As a student of UMTC i have right to suggest and expect the upcoming events of school especially "Intramurals" all students must required to participate the activity, I hope that intramural program must be strive to provide facilities, programs, and development opportunities in the area of recreation, which enhance the health and well being of students, faculty and staff, and this program must offers a wide variety of quality recreational and intramural  programs which fosters personal, educational, ethical, and physical development. and i hope all students, faculty, or staff playing intramural sports are expected to adhere or represent truthfully and in detail to the posted schedule for playing and participating in the activities they enter in. Current weekly schedules of games, activities or events will be updated on bulletin board. Some changes may occur in the schedule.

And the must importantly participants are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship, fair play, and abide by rules and obey any decisions of the intramural program and the scheduled activity. And any foul language, or acts of unsportsmanlike behavior of a non-physical nature no matter who intended for, will not be tolerated. And any person, showing signs of blood, will be immediately removed from the game or activity and will not be permitted back into any activity. Therefore i encouraged medical team should be needed all the time because injury requiring medical attention to prevent any accident.

Once the last game is completed, all participants will be encouraged to leave. Loitering around the field or common areas of UMTC will not be tolerated. Students will be expected to respect if UMTC implement the rules and comply with the request of school because this is not for them or for the  school this is for us. UMTC intramurals i hope that all students must enjoy to show their talents especially in the field of  sports and any activities to be offered by the school, because I've expect    too much for this event and i can't wait the day when the activity get started.

I conclude that my expectation in intramural sports in UMTC are fantastic i hope anyone ca join and there is no pressure to be a sports superstar. The focus is on making friends, staying fit and having fun not on winning sports titles. Continue Making Friends, Staying Fit and Having Fun!.
