Me As Marketing Student

Although I am unfairly prejudiced having a passion for marketing, there are a number of reasons why i believe individuals should consider a career in marketing. So, i have an reason why i should pursue a career in marketing. despite the belief of many, i have found a surprising lack of great marketers in the field. i have not been introduced to many individuals who are passionate about marketing, learning, and helping companies grow.

However, based in my passed working experienced i have met very few great marketers, personally, i love meeting new individuals and exchanging strategies and ideas that i have seen help grow businesses. Unfortunately i haven't met many times individuals who truly delve into the process and reflect on old and new strategies and i believe a great opportunity for those interested in learning how to grow a company and who want to channel their creativity. i think the value company's hold for great marketers is going to continue to grow in the future.

I consider the field of marketing to encompass more than only design, social media, public relations, promotion, advertising, sales and all people who engaged in business. I consider marketing to be the fundamental process behind growing a company. Considering starting own business in the future, then there is no better way to learn about growing a company than by being involved with marketing at an early stage company and examining what is effective and just as importantly, what is not as effective. Reflect on the actions that a company takes because all of this information will be valuable when working with companies in the future or with your own company. Every company requires a different marketing strategy, however certain strategies are applicable to a number of companies.   

I believe heart of business success lies in its marketing. Most aspects of business depend on successful marketing. The overall marketing umbrella covers advertising, public relations, promotions and sales. because marketing is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to potential customers. Without marketing, i found out that your business may offer the best products or services in your industry, but none of you potential customers would know about it, without marketing, sales may crash and companies may have to close.

What i most enjoy about marketing is the large positive influence that one ca have on a company. i enjoy being able to speak and share my ideas in school and explaining the exact marketing framework and breakdown of steps that they should pursue with their marketing and seeing the positive return on investment reaped. Within the fields of marketing and sales, an individual will always have a positive net result to a company. With marketing, a company knows that even if they have to spend money initially, they should end up with a higher profit.

Interaction or communication with your customer is so very important for a business to succeed , the product or service it provides must be known to potential buyers. Unless your business is known in the community and have communication with your customers readily available, we have to use marketing strategies to create product or service awareness. Without marketing, your potential customers may never be aware of your business offerings and your business may not be given the opportunity to progress and succeed. Using marketing to promote your product, service and company provides your business with a chance of being discovered by prospective customers.

To conclude, marketing, as in all fields, is not for everyone, however i do believe it is a career worth consideration.
